Updated: Jan 17, 2020

Openly regarded as one of the best Bigs in the NBA, Anthony Davis has made a name for himself as a terrifying 6’10’’ tall beast of an athlete who can damage the opposing team on both sides of the court.

The six-time NBA All-Star, a 2x gold medallist and an NCAA championship winner has to be one of the worst nightmares of all the other shot blockers in the league but the man’s got one elemental weakness: the dark.

Yes, ‘The Brow’ is afraid of the dark and he admitted to his fear of his on the latest episode of the podcast, That’s What She Said with Sarah Spain.

On the show, the 26-year-old confessed that he cannot sleep at night if there is darkness in the room.

“TV on, bathroom light on, some light has to be on,” Davis said. “I wish I wasn’t scared of the dark.”

But why is a grown man like Davis so scary for the dark? Well, according to the athlete, it is so because of watching “too many crazy movies” while growing up that “messed me up for life”.

While not ashamed of confessing his fears, David said that if there was something he’d want to change about his life, if would be getting over the fear.
