LeBron James Speaks On Finally Playing With Steph Curry, Fans Wished They Played Together More

The NBA All-Star weekend had its highs and lows. While Stephen Curry caught fire and won the 3-Point Contest on a thrilling final shot to beat Mike Conley, the Dunk contest saw one of the most disappointing slams getting the win for Portland Trail Blazers’ Anfernee Simons (the ‘Rim Kiss’ wasn’t even a kiss… Stop it).

However, one of the greatest moments of the All-Star Day came during the final event, when LeBron James and Stephen Curry got to play on the same team for the very first time in the history of the NBA.

Curry who has been playing phenomenally throughout the 2020-21 season has as the leader of the Golden State Warriors, felt like his younger self, dropping long-range bombs and stepping up to the challenge of teammate Damian Lillard, every time he made the shot from the All-Star logo at the center of the court.

A couple of those threes came off assists made by team captain LeBron James who was left mesmerized by the kind of accuracy and precision the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ had developed over the years to become the most elite shooter there was in the game of basketball.

The Los Angeles superstar just 12 minutes and 46 seconds while scoring four points, 2 rebounds, and four assists before calling it a night.

On the other hand, Curry looked to be having fun during the 21 minutes and 43 seconds that he spent on the court. He shot 52.6% from the field and made eight of his 16 3pt attempts on the way to scoring 28 points.

It was a valiant effort to win the Kobe Bryant NBA All-Star MVP trophy but his teammate and reigning league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo created history for scoring all 16 of his shot attempts, including three three-pointers for a 35-point, well-deserved, MVP work.

Following the end of the game won by Team LeBron by 20 points, LeBron James hopped on Twitter to express his respect for Stephen Curry and talked about how much he appreciated finally sharing the floor with him.

“Finally got to share the floor with @StephenCurry30! Well overdue and I loved every single second!!” James tweeted followed by a hashtag that read “Changed How The Game Is Played By Himself Alone” and “Just Some Kinds Born In Akron”.

Fans of LeBron James and those of Stephen Curry also forgot their past rivalries and showed some love for the two generational superstars:
