Here are the four Women's National Basketball Association prospects from India
Khushi Dongre

State: Aurangabad, Maharashtra
College: ASA College, Miami
Khushi was selected to represent India in the FIBA Asia U-18 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, played in Malaysia from August 22-24. Khushi was part of the Indian team for the U-16 Women's Asian Championship India 2017 Division B. The youngster also participated in the NBA Academies Women’s Programme at The NBA Academy India in 2018 and in January 2019. Additionally, she earned the Best Teammate Award in 2018 and the Coaches Award at the 2019 camp
Sanjana Ramesh

State: Bengaluru, Karnataka
College: North Arizona University, Flagstaff
Sanjana's first claim to fame was when she captained India's U16 Girls squad to an undefeated campaign in Division B of the FIBA U16 Asia Cup, earning the nation a promotion to Division A in the tournament's next edition. Sanjana also participated in The NBA Academies Women's Program camp at The NBA Academy India in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR).
Following that, in the Basketball Without Borders Asia camp, a three-day basketball development camp featuring the top male and female basketball prospects from throughout Asia, Sanjana was named MVP of the girls' division. She was the second Indian-born female player to receive a Division I Basketball Scholarship.
Vaishnavi Yadav

State: Uttar Pradesh
College: Pensacola State College, Florida
Vaishnavi has represented India in the FIBA Asia U18 3x3 Championship, FIBA Asia U16 Championship, and the FIBA U16 Asia Cup. She is the Indian National Team leader for most points scored in a single game with 71 and was the MVP Award winner at the first ever NBA Academy India as well as the MVP of the U18 State Nationals.
In the 2018 Junior Nationals in Ludhiana, against Kerala in a pool game, Vaishnavi amassed the 71 points all by herself in a pool game. At the same event, in the third-place match against Karnataka, she scored a staggering 53 points in a winning cause. At the FIBA U-16s in 2017 October, Vaishnavi totalled 102 points —averaging 20 per game. She credits the NBA Academy for motivating her to believe in herself and providing her the opportunity to learn from legendary and highly experienced coaches
Asmat Kaur Taunque

State: Indore, Madhya Pradesh
College: Lawrenceville School Team, New Jersey
Captain of the Maharashtra U16 Girls Basketball team, Asmat Kaur Taunque, paves an exemplary pathway for high school aspirants in the U.S.A. Asmat played for India at the U16 FIBA ASIA Cup 2017. Asmat has maintained an impeccable academic record throughout her school years, along with training at the India Camp and the NBA Asia Basketball Without Borders Camp.
Asmat’s casual fling with basketball turned into a serious interest when the School Coach in Indore spotted her on the day of her admission to the school. Her proudest moment so far has been her buzzer beater shot in the Final match against Malaysia in the U16 FIBA ASIA Cup 2017 in which India emerged as the Pool winner.
In 2018, Asmat was awarded the prestigious MALWA award - a state level award given to young achievers in Sports. She was also a recipient of the ISPORA Award from the Olympic stars- the Phogat sisters - for her promising and exemplary foray into Basketball at a young age.
